Announcing: Ministering Deliverance

The Healing School Training Mini-Course Series... a series of short classes and (teaching and discussion) that will be offered on the healing-school list. Various members of the leadership core will teach short courses on a topic relevent to praying for the sick and seeing God heal them.

Current Course:

"Ministering Deliverance" (Details about this mini-course are enclosed below. This is a repeat of course #4.)

The series will continue beyond the announced course topics.

Course Contents/Description:

This is a comprehensive and down-to-earth practical teaching on how to minister deliverance. Rodney shares a lot of stories and experiences to illustrate his points. He begins by addressing the question of whether or not it is possible for believers to have demons. The it explores the different levels of demonic attachment (e.g, shows how individuals can have differing levels of demonic control in their lives. It looks at the the enemy's points of access, examining various enemy strongholds or inroads in a person's life.

The it examines the power of words over us. It looks at curses (and blessings), secret societies and oaths. It describes how to break the power of words over an individual and it also has a sample ministry session along those lines.

Then it looks at symptoms of demonization and describes some of the demonic manifestations you may see during a ministry session. It talks about power encounters, truth encounters and when it is appropriate to use which one. It also teaches how to break soul ties.

The series talks about God as the deliverer. It gives practrical suggestions for helping a person stay free. It discusses how to maintain a person's dignity when you minister deliverance to them. It also covers ministering to children.

Rodney talks about the limitations of demonic power, how to extract the roots that give the demons access to an individual, and offers suggestions for when it is hard to get the demon out. Then he explains what to do after the deliverance session, both for the ministry team and for the person who was set free.

This is a very practical study on ministering deliverance.

(The "Healing-School" list will continue to function as it has been with other discussion as well, centered around topics pertaining to praying for the sick and seeing them healed; but in addition to the "regular stuff" we will be giving and receiving feedback about the information contained in each weeks teaching article.)
